Charming Cider Barn Wedding in Middleburg
When Antoine proposed, he read Roxie a poem that took her breath away:
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it”.
What Antoine didn’t know is that Roxie had that poem taped to her computer for years, and it was a large part of her journey of healing and growth.
Roxie and Antoine’s beautiful outdoor wedding at Mt Defiance Cidery was the perfect combination of rural quaintness and modern elegance. After two years of postponed wedding plans - due to covid and venue cancellations - Roxie and Antoine finally said I do before their closest family and friends in a tranquil garden setting in Middleburg, Virginia.
From start to finish, their wedding day was sprinkled with personal, meaningful details, including a bouquet of white roses from her bridesmaids, reminiscent of the flowers her mother would give her often as a child. At the reception, their two favorite drinks, a Moscow mule and a Greyhound, were featured at the bar.
